I first started playing hockey in 2011, for my college's club team. The team is very similar to this league - everyone is welcome, regardless of skating experience/ability. Probably 95% of players had never played hockey before joining the Macalester team, and about half had never even skated on the ice before. I've mainly played goalie (which is my favorite position!), but did play as a skater for a few months as well.
