"Learn to play hockey at my age?!" That's what I said 15 years ago and I've been skating since. I remember my first practice on the ice and feeling nervous and awkward. When I skated in a real game for the first time, I didn't want anyone to come near me for fear of being knocked down and having the puck taken away. I've come along way since then! Hockey is not just about skating on the ice, it's about being part of a team, sportsmanship, and making friends! Oh, and it's about grabbing a beer afterwards!Madison Gay Hockey Association
