Player Bio

I'm so excited to finally be playing hockey! I grew up ice skating as a kid (maybe even learned to skate before walking) but only started playing hockey in 2021.

Highlights of my hockey career thus far:
Madison Dread Pirates D5 - got "recruited" midway through my first MGHA season and we made it to playoffs in 2022
MGHA Classic Tournament - I was asked to be a team captain and we made it to the championship! (but lost...)

I also love to play softball and be outside in the summer before I hibernate in the winter except for hockey and work.

Other than hockey, I am a total board game nerd. I bet my collection is bigger than yours. 🙂

Coaching Bio

I love to work with folks on advancing your skating skills. Particularly I can help you learn how to hockey stop, skate backwards, transition forward to backward and vice versa, and maximizing your skating stride. I've been through the introductory Laura Stamm Power Skating clinics and I own her book.

I can also work with you on basic positioning in various situations, especially for folks interested in learning how to play defense.
